Virtual Electronic Platform
The Virtual Electronic Platform is a Dumarey innovative environment we use to develop and validate electronic control software.
Today’s electronic and software companies have to deal, on one side, with hardware architectures constantly increasing in complexity and, on the other side, with a strong pressure to deliver their products quickly. The old-established design-flow procedures, where hardware and software development are serialized, appear insufficient to meet modern product development schedules.
In Dumarey Softronix we can develop virtual prototypes (i.e. model of a hardware system capable to execute unmodified production code) and integrate them into a complete and fully configurable virtual testbench to allow testing the product in a so-called virtual Hardware in the Loop (vHIL).
We call this integrated environment Virtual Electronic Platform.
The Virtual Electronic Platform let software development to start early and proceed concurrently with hardware development increasing collaboration of the hardware and the software developer teams; furthermore, it provides total visibility and controllability of the modelled system. For this reason, The Virtual Electronic Platform offer debugging capabilities almost unthinkable on a real hardware system, resulting in higher quality of the product with lower effort.
