Controller Validation

The Virtual Electronic Platform has been used to perform validation tests on several production embedded control units owned by a one of our customer vehicle OEM, with no use of physical benches/ECUs.

Typically, initial setup of these benches requires up to six months and they cannot be easily reconfigured and used for other programs during the execution of the tests, unless of several weeks for the re-work.

The Virtual Electronic Platform, allowed to replace the physical environment reusing, with minimum modification, the standard test suite developed for the benches. In addition, leveraging parallelism offered by cloud computing, multiple instances of The Virtual Electronic Platform have been executed at the same time offering maximum level of flexibility/scalability.

This kind of setup allowed also to easily include validation with The Virtual Electronic Platform into CI/CD pipeline.
